Schizophrenia (the voices are gone)

They had ignored me.
I asked a question or made a comment and they'd stare;
Like I was disgusting
They laughed once, and I knew then, they should be dead like my logic

Walking in the dark of my thoughts, I felt the coldness of their stares.
Those who once ignored me now seemed to be intrigued.
This feeling of fame sculpted a smile on my face.
With the stares came voices.
"Look at her", "What a ****en freak", "I know your secret."
Their lips didn't move, but I heard the voices

My head turned to see if they heard the voices, those voices in my head!
The more they stared the louder their voices
"Shut Up!" I said quietly. "Leave Me Alone!" I said louder.

They stared to look at the freak. Some stop and stare with intensity.
Their voices taunting my every movement.
"SHUT UP, SHUT UP!" I yelled and screamed
The voices stoped, and complete silence lingered.
Hungry eyes fixated upon my confused body

In the distance I heared an evil laugh echoing closer and closer to me.
I looked around to see who's laughing! "WHO'S LAUGHING!", I yelled.
I heared the voices again. "I'M NOT CRAZY!!!" I yelled, "SHUT UP!!"

I ran away from the people murdering my sanity.
I could still hear them. I ran to a church praying this wasn't hell, praying he'd forgive me. "I wasn't going to kill them!" I said.
THE VOICES WOULDN'T STOP!!
My own bullet turned against me.
I took the gun out and BOOM! strait into my temple.

The voices were gone.

Wow. Very nicely conveyed. I like the brevity of it, but it still gets the point across. Brava.
