Marilyn Manson can thank Trent Reznor for his career. I'm not a fan of Manson much at all; Trent is the one and only king of industrial rock and forever the voice of angry teens.

You ever heard Mechanical Animals? All of Manson's albums are shite - except that one.

HolyWood and Antichrist Superstar are alright, but I hated MechAnimals. His other albums are just terrible.

Mechanical Animals is real mellow and has very decent lyrics actually. His other stuff is too metalish for me.

What remains to be seen is if he has the staying power of Richard, Prestly or the Stones, or if he will be relegated to the back pages of trivia books like Dead or Alive.

I'd just like to add Jim Morrison of "The Doors" to the list of 'Shock artists'
