The almighty guitar solo

I know every hardcore floyd fan loves a good guitar solo when they hear one. And theres so many damn good ones. My favs are the final cut , and of course who could forget comfortably numb (especially the live version). What's your favorite.

Re: The almighty guitar solo

I'm presuming you mean Floyd-related only. Yes, there are several threads covering this.

Just to mention something different, I'm very fond of Snowy White's solo on SOYCD part 8, from the RoIO made at the famous July 77 concert in Montreal.

Hmmmm... Eight pages on this very same topic.. took me about 22 seconds to find it.. Try using the search function..upper right corner of the screen here..

http://www.pinkfloydfan.net/showthre...+Gu itar+solo

OK now .. two things...

1) I just love Dave's solo in "Coming Back to Life"..but he so many great ones it's hard to choose just one.. (Comfy Numb, Dogs, Careful with that Axe, Sorrow, Murder....)

2) Thread locked due to duplication.
