Do Ragas only sound Indian or do they have every kind of world sound? And can anyone tell me a site where i can find some? thanks

"Raga" actually refers to a number of scale patterns, which are usually executed in the traditional Indian form of an improvisational sitar/tabla duet.

I love the sound of Indian music, especially the sitar and the sarangi. I love the drone of the tamboura as well.
