Re: Should I?

FYI, Chaos, since you've an apparent interest in Vera Lynn, she is the singer singing the song at the beginning of the movie. (The Little Boy That Santa Claus Forgot). Also, the referred-to "We'll Meet Again" was probably her biggest hit.

Read this, chaos.

Re: Should I?

I have Vera Lynn's "50 Golden Greats" on 8-track and it's marvellous.

Re: Should I?

No surprise here.

I figure if only one person in the world has a Vera Lynn collection, it will be Botmeister.

Re: Should I?

well, sorry i didn't know about the vera lynn thing. but something i find odd: the author says that pink would have been a baby. but think of it this way: if pink was born just before or at the begining of the war (1939 for europeans), and his father died in '44(as said in "when the tigers broke free") he could have benn about 5 years old, which would give a very similar appearance as to the one used for that sequence. i'm not arguing the point, i'm just saying that its possible.

Re: Should I?

Pink is a character telling (mainly, and with a large part of fiction) the story of Roger Waters, particularly for the father's part, so he is supposed to be born in 1943 like good ol' Rog.

Re: Should I?

Sounds like a retrospective view of Eyesight to the Blind, good song.

The Wall's got some of the coolest animation ever, worth it just to watch that.
