| Well... they had just finished a Stateside tour in the summer of 1968 to promote A Saucerful of Secrets. It wasn't considered worthwhile to go back to the US so soon until they had a proper album to promote (which they did, with Atom Heart Mother in 1970). But they did play tonnes of shows all over Britain throughout 1969. Which I guess is because it was their home market and people would go to see them anyway. |
