remasters coming out?

Im getting ready to buy a bunch of Pink Floyd cds.
I don't want to buy a bunch of older cds if remasters are coming out soon.
Does anybody know if and how soon any PF cds are coming out with much better audio than the ones I would buy today?

They have all been remastered, there is some talk about SACD releases of Animals and WYWH. Like they did with DSOTM, dig it?

I heard the SACD's are stupid.

You have to have the newer better cd players to play sacd's.
There not stupid someone was probably mad cause they got it and it didn't play in ther player.
SACD stands for Super Ausio Compact Disc.
They hold ten times more music than a ordinary cd and the also sound a whole lot better.

Don't you have to put it in a DVD player? And have 5.1 surround or something?

SACDs are not DVDs... and yes, you need a surround setup to take full advantage of them.

You can play SACD's on every CD player, except mine.

Its ok to play them without surround but it might suck.
If you just want the music then don't by a sacd.
If you want the best music and the best sound then get it.

SACD are probably going the way of the 8-track.
