Re: What Did You Do Today?

I woke up, felt very sick, went to work anyway. I spent the whole day semi-hallucinating because I was feverish, and the very hot temperature I have to endure daily at work wasn't helping.

Fixx: There are too many weirdos in the world and not everysort makes the news.

Today, I went along with aunt everystep of the way as she had surgery to remove cancerous lump from her breast. She's at home recuperating - and a little too "drowsy" for my liking

Well sheesh - I wasn't there when she was in the Operating Room and such... just hung around the hospital all day and during discharge ...

She's upstairs asleep - I think she'll pull through fine. She was still a little too drowsy for my liking (and the fact that she's taking Darvocets for pain)... but her nausea never showed up and her kidneys are fine. She's breathing ok and her pulses are fine *shrug* Nothing bad as far as I can see.

Tomorrow will be a better day.

Speaking of tomorrow, I better get to bed. I have an 8 o'clock blood donation appointment

Haha actually. I haven't been smoking weed of it. I'm bored of weed. I'm just smoking shisha out of that.

Re: What Did You Do Today?

Today I woke up quite early to go shopping and take my mum to the hospital (nothing serious, she's got "sciatica"? and she will need some injections during this week).

But my mind is still on yesterday's night. I went to bed a bit late after having been in Barcelona dining with the most beautiful, wonderful, intelligent... woman in the world and some other friends.

She's going back to Italy tomorrow and she'll stay there for a week, then she'll come back.

I don't think that we will get together, we're just friends, but Christ! I'm falling deeper and deeper every time; it's been ages since I last felt that way.

Re: What Did You Do Today?

Donated blood.

Interestingly, as I was lying down in the process, I saw this guy in front of me and his face did a funny little twitch - barely saw it. I turned to the nurse beside me and said "somethings gonna happen to that man there".

She said "where?" and turned around just in time to see the man go *BOOM* flat on his back!

Heh - I don't know what made me say that, but I'm glad I did.

So, I gave my pint, ate my cookies, drank my cranberry juice and drove home.
