Sorted, I've recently upgraded my version of Firefox and it very kindly put a tick in the box that stops images being loaded from sites other than the one you're browsing. Dog cooking itself a cat, yes.

Today at lunchtime I was caught up in a bit of Floyd syncronicity. I ordered lunch from a restaurant next to my CPA's office, where I had to go to drop off my income tax info. When my CPA was glancing over my info she saw my old email address. "LEN! You're a PINK FLOYD fan?" she screeched. (I've known her for about 20 years) I said yeah. Anyway, she went on to tell me how she had seen PF at Soldier's Field in Chicago in 1977 during the In The Flesh tour. She said the concert started about 8 or 9 that night, but the stadium filled up by 10:00am and everyone spent the day partying, passing around joints, getting drunk, stoned, and having a great time. Apparently more than a few OD'd & had to be taken out on stretchers by paramedics. She said it was the greatest concert she ever went to. Anyway, we talked about it for a few minutes then I went nextdoor to get my lunch. I'm wearing my Fender T-shirt, and the kid whom I paid saw my shirt and said he loves Fenders. I asked him if he owned a tele or strat, and he said not yet. Then out of the blue he said "David Gilmour of Pink Floyd has the first strat ever made". I said, yeah, old 001, are you a Floyd fan? He said yes he was a "huge" one. Strange to have two unprovoked Floyd conversations within 5 minutes.

Yes. I often wear my old DSotM t-shirt at work and it's amazing the amount of strangers/customers that allude to getting 'high' or throw in the suffix 'man' after every 3rd sentence. ' It's funny, too.

You know, whenever I wear my Radiohead or Nine Inch Nails shirts, people around me seem to have this uncontrollable urge to bear their angst-ridden souls.

Yes. Half the time, there's not actually any mention of the band on the t-shirt- they just take it for granted that you are what they think you are. When mostly you aren't. At all. Last edited by fixxlevy; 12-01-2005 at 05:57 PM.

Odd. When I wear my 2003 London Beer Festival shirt, people seem to want me to buy them beer. Go figure.

Re: What Did You Do Today? Today, I woke up at about 10:30, went into the front room, checked the internet to see if anyone was on. No-one was on so I watched Mallrats. After Mallrats was over I sat on the internet for a while and made soup. After that, I smoked some Ganja and watched Eddie and the Cruisers. Then I sat on the internet again for a while and took a shower. Theeeeenn, my mom came home and we went to Wal-mart. . .for two hours. . .and here I am.
