Moving out of the old apartment today. 13 years here. I'll miss the old firehouse but its time to go. Its been a long and tiresome weekend

Yeah, I've been moving stuff too. I still haven't found a perminate residence, though I'm in temp. Housing for now and I have about 3 weeks too find a new one. By the way does any ne just happin to know if there is any houses avalible in the greater Killeen/Fort Hood area?

Just got back from the post office - why do you run out of envelopes and stamps just when you need them the most?

Mailed out a whole bunch of requests to two professors - they're my faculty who permit me to use their names for my recomendation requests. I also sent off YET another mail to CGFNS - apparently, they've mixed MY application with ANOTHER person. So they're waiting for me to send them proof of graduation from a university I've never attended (and I can't attend anyways - it's a college open only to WOMEN). How on earth they managed to mix it all up is beyond me...

... but this time around the customer support guy was really nice.... unlike the last time when naturally, they blamed me "You must've done something wrong" (yeah, like I have nothing better to do ).

Also sent off a transcript to another hospital I'm applying to. Hopefully will hear something from them as well.

Interview was a breeeeeeeeze today - I have very good feelings about this one. I fully expect an offer by week's end [ Reminds me! I have to send a thank you note!]



Jeepers-creepers! I might be working by the end of this month!

First day of 2nd-year university with BU2008C Competitive Market Structures - studying oligopolistic markets and their relative stabilities.

Another ENORMOUS load of bollocks, truth be told, but it should get more interesting as the year progresses. Yeah...right.

The lecturer's first word's to me were, "I think I remember you from somewhere before."

Hmmm, thinks I. Has he heard of my stormy, challenging reputation or is he just mad?
"No, sorry." I reply. "I have never taken any of your classes."

"Ah," he responds, "maybe it was someone else."

Yep, mad as a hatter. If it wasn't me he remembers - and it wasn't - then it HAS to be someone else.

I suppose he could have ridden on one of my buses but it's so long ago now. I don't remember any of my former passengers, not even the memorably colourful ones.
