Re: What Did You Do Today?

Woke up at 4:45 for some reason and could not get back to sleep, so I just got up and made coffee and took a shower. Then all the usual filler until I get home to talk to you lovely lot, which is the highlight of my day.

Re: What Did You Do Today?

Yesterday it really occured to me that my new flatmate is a raging alcoholic that my cats don't appear to like and few minutes ago (just to really drive it home), I went to get the toaster out of one of the cupboards in the kitchen and discovered that it has been sequestered elsewhere in favour of many, many empty booze bottles, none of which I partook of.

Being that I recently received something of a 'slap in the face' from someone else that has foregone our friendship (and I cared about) in favour of The Drink, I'm in a bit of a guddle.

Is it unfair of me to ask my flatmate to move out when there's a possibility that it may be an associative over-reaction or should I just bite my tongue and see if it plays out OK, because it's not like he's a bad guy, or anything?

Re: What Did You Do Today?

Maybe the guy is a collector of booze bottles? (i.e., it seems strange to me that an alcoholic would save empties).

Doesn't sound promising, but probably should give him a chance.

Good luck.

Re: What Did You Do Today?

Get rid of the lush. Tell him, "F**k off! And don't come back until you've sorted out your drink problem!" And then add, "Oh yeah, where the f**k's my toaster?"

Get the rent money first, though.

ps. Before any attempt is made at the above, be sure the hoarder of empties isn't really you who stored them in the toaster's place while under the influence of an alcoholic haze.
