Re: What Did You Do Today?

Like Lily, I had a good day at work (Friday's are usually good...)

Ran at lunch (got my usual 4 miles in), took my son to a Halloween party tonight, and am now having a before bed (waiting to see if the Cards are going to wrap it up tonight).

Re: What Did You Do Today?

Bought Art School Confidential and an Andy Goldsworthy documentary.
I figure I owe him after kind of breaking one of his sculptures.

Also did the president thing at a meeting that sucked and got coffee.

Re: What Did You Do Today?

This was actually last night, but my friend and I were walking around getting candy and trying to find something to do. I had just bought some pepper spray a couple weeks before and had not tested it out yet, so as we were walking I stopped and sprayed it away from us. The genius that he is walked near the stream and I guess breathed some in and immediated was blinded and said his face felt on fire. So he had to hold onto to me the whole way back to my house because he couldn't see. We got home and I poured water into his eyes and he dipped his face into the sink for awhile which seemed to help. For the rest of the night his eyes were completely red and still irritated. He told me he wanted to smell it, he didn't think it would hurt as bad as it did. Now he knows.

Re: What Did You Do Today?

Whizzed about on a 500cc (for the first ever time. At 32 years old), felt exceptionally tired, drank coffee, ate manly fried food, entertained my friend Nati for a bit, talked gay to the cats, am going to bed soon.

Another dreary day of work. Emailed my October invoices.

Considered shipping a mating pair of Prairie Dogs to fixxy.

Dismissed idea. (too costly, and FedEx wouldn't guarantee they'd arrive live.)

Preparing for "tea", as the Brits would say.

Re: What Did You Do Today?

Woke up at 5 am. Breakfast consisted of a cup of coffee.

Reported to work at 6:45 am. All hell broke lose...

Didn't find time for lunch - Managed to sneak a pee break at 3 pm.

Dragged self home at 6:30 pm. Aunt is in bad shape - feeling horridly drowsy and nauseous (today was day one of chemo and radiation).

Figured that it's pointless to eat something now as I'm probably gonna have dinner in a couple of hours.

Loooooooooong day just got loooooooooonger....
I'm gonna have a short beer.
