It really doesnt help me stay co-herent during the day.

i've found sleeping with head phones on helps me sleep, but ,there is a hazard too your life...one time cord from head phones got wrapped around my wife's neck...:

Re: What Did You Do Today?

oh my goodness Tony! I'll stick to low volume pocket radio tucked under my pillow after horror cord stories!
This reminds me of my husband giving out to me for falling asleep with gum in my mouth one time and thus waking up with it all in my hair and a chunky lock of hair had to be cut off by him. That was one of my silliest moments ever.

As for today; he's gone off to Cork to play a gig. Im not going this time as there's another next Thursday anyway. I plan to design an add poster for a new singer to tack up too tonight. Ive slacked off my art & design lately anyway and I need practise. I put down a deposit on an album at the C.D. store, dressed my finest for the grand weather today.

Re: What Did You Do Today?

Today I enjoyed a nice day off work, got a new mp3 player, had a beer in my backyard while listening to it...and remembered the great night I had yesterday at the Roger Waters concert

Slept in, to prepare (as if!) for my full time night-shift job that starts this evening.

Worked. Spent my lunch break with a gal that I think is just the bees knees! I'll probably be spending the evening with her as well.

Re: What Did You Do Today?

Tried to figure out what to do about college, and didn't get far aside from printing off some phone numbers to call tomorrow.
Am realizing that karma has probably caught up with me and I deserve all of this. But that still doesn't make me any more happy about it.

Re: What Did You Do Today?

I woke up with the power out, so I just got high and took a bath. Then, caught up on reading my new Chuck Palahniuk book Rant, that I haven't read since the week I got it. The power is back on now, I guess the fuse shorted out or something, I dunno.

Re: What Did You Do Today?

Today I visited my beautiful girlfriend and quietly congratulated myself on not getting lost on the way (very easy to do in London). Totally fucked it up on the way back and spent two and a half hours trying to get home. At one point I was on the way to Dover. I had to stop at a tea caravan thingy at Blackheath and ask a couple of bikers where the hell I was. Happily, one of them escorted me up to London bridge and I finally made it home. At 2.30am. Still, got a chance to put some miles on the RR (but I'd rather have done so under my own volition).

Nightmare.

Did you come to any new conclusions about the meaning of taking a bath?

I thought you were living in London now?

We marched in the local 4th of July Parade and fired off the muskets a half dozen times and then drank beer and ate hot dogs at the Firehouse. Resting up for the next parade later today and fireworks tonight. Happy 4th of July to all.

it's usually a bad sign when the power goes off,9 months later you have another mouth to feed...
