Re: What Did You Do Today?

Lovely bike!

Today we rehearsed with a guy who can become the new member of our band. We were looking for a keyboardist or a "samplerist" to add atmosphere and more density to our songs and a guitar player came instead. But he is not a typical guitar player anyway, he connects his guitar to a guitar synth, a Mac and a lot of other things and he can make it sound like a hundred or more different instruments, effects, etc. So now we've got someone who can play both good guitar solos and add atmosphere. He's a student from Fripp's Guitar Craft and he has been recently in a course wth Fripp himself, so the Crimson influence is there.

And he plays really good!

Called things off with my lady friend.

I don't think I've ever felt this terrible in my life.

It's a long and winding road, my friend. Try not to take it too seriously at this stage, though- there's not a vast amount relationship-wise that will actually have any bearing on where you end up. During the next few years the relationships that you'll have will serve the purpose of A/ making you a much better partner for the Right One and B/ getting you laid.

You'll be fine.

Re: What Did You Do Today?

I woke up about an hour ago and I've been playing Atari while trying to figure out what I was going to do during the day. I'm thinking about going vinyl shopping, that would be nice.

Re: What Did You Do Today?

Went to try to apply for school. My old school apparently wasn't very keen on faxing my records over, so we have to go back tomorrow.

Sorry, darls...it gets better though.

I went to work then went to have my hatchet-job haircut fixed.
I'm a seriously hot mess now...
And now I'm watching Spongebob

I think A applied to this one. B definitely did. Finally.

Re: What Did You Do Today?

It's never easy. Normally you expect relationships to last. But it's all part of a learning process as Fixxy says.

Re: What Did You Do Today?

For some reason I really thought it was going to last a long time. It's been 3 months.

We're still talking..still seeing each other..it's weird.
