Re: What Did You Do Today?

Today, and everyday since sunday, I've been moving in my new appartment and discovering the joys of unpacking dozens and dozens of boxes full of stuff . Add a good 10 hours or so of cleaning the damn place (the people who lived there before didn't seem to clean stuff like their bath ). I think I'll be able to sit down for 5 minutes tomorrow.

I think you might be in my old apartment. Nobody (myself included) could get off their asses for stuff like bathtub-scrubbing.

Re: What Did You Do Today?

Today I genuinely offered to help Steven Hawking's carers push his chair over a little bump that was hampering his progress on a bridge over the Cam, the river in Cambridge.

They declined my offer but I'm still pretty overawed.

Re: What Did You Do Today?

Inspired by the above post, I google-earthed Cambridge to...well, count how many bridges there actually are over the Cam.

After looking at many photos, I have to admit...it is one helluva beautiful city.

18 bridges visible, BTW, depending upon where the actual city limits are.

Re: What Did You Do Today?

Coincidentally, I found out today that there are 18 bridges over the river Liffey (although the tour guide pointed out a 19th that is currently under construction and in the shape of a giant Irish harp).

Okay, so we finally went to see the movie last Saturday night.

And yes, we have been coloring together. A lot.

Re: What Did You Do Today?

Today i went to work at 5am so I could leave early to go to the Doctor. I had an uperdural in my neck(I'm not sure if I spelled it right) to hopefully put an end to the sharp pain I've had that starts in my neck and burns my Shoulder blade before shooting down my arm into my hand. This is the 2nd shot for this problem to date . The first shot I got about 3 years ago right before our wedding(has it really been that long?). It lasted almost 3 years with no pain but in the last 2 months it has steadally returned. everything seemed to go good today but the full effect will take a few days so we shall see. anything is better than the way i felt the last few weeks. So has anyone else had a needle stuck into there spine today? I sure hope not.

Re: What Did You Do Today?

Sorry to hear of your ailments, do they know what's causing it, or is it a case of sticking needles in your neck for the rest of your days? I haven't had a needle in my neck but I have in a variety of other places! Just wait til you get to my age..oy vay...the stories I could tell you......
