Re: What Did You Do Today?

Had a job fair at school, half day, got pissed at a few ignorant "individuals." Nothing too extravagant, not like my usual schedual which is, in fact, very extravagant.

I was just about to say that it was a nice gesture to put the cover on. Perhaps he forgot it wasn't his hairdryer?

Re: What Did You Do Today?

Today I procrastinated, as I have done for the past few days. Now I have a paper due in 4 hours and I'm nowhere near finished.

Re: What Did You Do Today?

I still didn't start any project I was supposed to do today. I have a certain feeling I will have to do everything tonight and not sleep at all and complain that I should have done it earlier.

Re: What Did You Do Today?

today I spent about 4 hours touching up 4 pictures with photoshop to a near perfect result and 1 hour and a half printing them. it was my final project and I hope I'll get a good grade.
and for another project in my photo shooting class, I had to carry home one of the huge old school cameras we use in the studio, along with the enormous tripod that goes with it, the 2 combined together almost weight more than me. it was really fun in the subway, especially in the stairs...

I REALLY can't wait for the holidays.

Re: What Did You Do Today?

Today, final chapter of the Ebay guitar-selling fiasco: Shipped the sonofabitch to Spain, cost $231, but Hose-A was bawling about only having $200 for shipping, so I picked up the $31 extra. Then I find he stiffed me $20, which I figured was some friggin bank fee until my bank stuck me for $7 for the electronic transfer. Ebay got me for another $16.60 for seller's fee.

I might as well of taken the damn thing to Music-go-round and let them jamb it up my ass, it would have been a lot easier.

Re: What Did You Do Today?

I haven't slept in two days.

I haven't eaten anything but two packs of chips.

I've smoked a pack and a half.

But I finally finished the son of a bitch! 75+ pages!

I need a drink. I'm of to the bar. My brain's fried.

Geez! That's $70+ for a $200 sale!

Actually, the guitar sold for about $400, and the shipping itself was $231.

So I ended up with about $325.

But it was all a giant pain in the ass.

Re: What Did You Do Today?

Compared to the one that you would have had if you'd gone to Music-go-round, it sounds like a walk in the park!

Re: What Did You Do Today?

Well today, we ( my daughter and I ) went off to the Forestry Commission to buy the Griswold family Christmas tree. This is something we have done for years and it is something of a tradition. Each year I keep on saying, "buy a bl**dy plastic one and save all this palaver", but no, no we have to traipse miles and get a real one. Bah humbug to all

the tree does look nice though!
