Well more like last night, but I had a weird dream about me attracting small airplanes above my house with a flashlight, millions of them. I remember it was quite a sight, I believe it was all the small planes in the world and it caused shit like earthquakes and tornados because of the pressure in the air or something. And I was in trouble because of that and the government was looking for me and my grandma wouldn't help me for whatever reason...

Then I woke up. First words "WTF?!". Took a shower, made coffee and now I'm here. Going to work in about an hour.

well today...i woke up & got ready for school..i listined to led zeppelin III while i was getting ready
then left
got to class & my ex boyfriend (which was the love of me life that broke up with me sep.20) was in there & i got deppressed like i do every day & now i am in art class & my teacher is talking about bogs & stuff & we are gona listin to dark side of the moon
he says i'm his favorite student becuase i like floyd
today..i might MIGHT goto me friends house & make tie-dye shirts & stuff

Weird...I keep having dreams about getting married, but they only seem to happen if I eat a pop tart at night.
Can't say that I care all that much for the pop tarts anyway.

I've been in class for a while this morning, then left to get some pizza and am about to go down to the pottery studio and make some bowls and plates.

Mint chocolate chip or frosted blueberry.

The dream inducing kind are unfrosted strawberry. Which I never really cared for. I like them about as much as the idea of ever getting married.

Man alive! 0.25 cc can be quite the difference between a stable patient and a borderline case!

Had a 72 year old with left total knee replacement. She was doing fine untill she started having bouts of nausea and vomitting. To calm her stomach down, I gave her 1.25 mg of Inapsine (Droperidol)... about 0.5 cc of it - which is well within standard adult doasge limits.

Bad idea!

Within half an hour, she became so highly sedated, I had to constantly shake her awake to assess her condition. She had me worried sick! Medically she was "stable"... but just barely. Her Sodium was low, blood pressure and O2 saturation was borderline. She was an ex-smoker, so I was constantly afraid her lungs weren't perfusing her blood with enough oxygen, so I refused to take her off the 3L of O2 she was recieving.

Eeesh! I ran my tail off trying to stay on top of her case. Just wanted to avoid sending her down to the ICU (or worse ). She came out ok after about 6 hours though and she was tolerating fluids by mouth.

But I was so behind that I managed to catch up paperwork only an hour after my shift officially ended!

Never again! Next time someone is ordered Droperidol, I'm giving it in 0.625mg bolus increments. I've learned my lesson

I worked. Had a McDucks gag-o-meal for lunch. But, just made myself a very good pastrami-&-swiss on an onion bagel for supper.

Had a surprisingly good day at work. I mentioned the airplane dream to my coworkers and they told me I needed to stop eating sugar before going to bed.
