My house in in Terra Alta, WV...
I'm moving in this May, and it'd frickin' snow capital of the country.

Not sure where it officially ranks on the list of places with high snow levels, but for a tiny WV town, it makes the national news a hell of a lot.


It should also be said that I abhor snow, and that the snow that appears in TA around November doesn't disappear until mid May.
And I'm still excited about moving in.

seeing that Buffalo is getting socked in with a major blizzard it's time to hit the DVD collection...i'm watching RUSH LIVE IN RIO now...

AND NOW YOUR WEATHER ON THE 10's...received 10 inches of snow yesterday and they're predicting 18 to 24 inches today with gusts of 40 miles per hour...

SPRINGSTEEN was at downtown arena last nite,i wonder with the airport closed if they made it out of town...yesterday Little Stephen showed up at local radio station and did an live version of his radio show for about 2 hours...he seems like just a regular guy who really enjoys garage music...

Hmm..We had our annual blizzard here in dallas a few days ago. Tuesday it snowed about 3 inches, Wednesday it was sunny and warm enough to play tennis, Thursday it snowed again, maybe 4 inches. After that it's been about fifty to sixty degrees.

Anyways, today I took a psychology exam at school and worked. I'm about to watch the Darjeeling Limited.

Since my boyfriend's car died this week, I had to walk to work in a freakin storm this morning. And it's getting worse! Seems like we're breaking records in amounts of snow this winter.

i remember when i lived in Irving Tx,they got 2 inches of snow one day and the people were freaking out...

where i live now they got 28 inches of snow from 1800 on Friday to 0600 on Sunday...

It was supposed to snow here today, and it's relatively nice.
I think the weather said a big 'F*ck you!' to the weather channel and decided to give us a break.

So I've got the windows open, listening to Goldfrapp, and plotting a trip to the Warhol.

Finished moving the family to Nevada - got a couple weeks closing up the house here in Sacramento, which will suck - but no more California legislature. Or state income tax. Plus, I get to vote against Harry Reid.
