DSOT hasn't been released on dvd, all you can hope for is a poor quality vhs rip that some chancers are selling on eBay, do yourself a favour and don't give them your money.

This is a good site for compression tips, they don't offer any full-version software though. Welcome to the forum and enjoy your stay!

Thumbs up

Today I found a website that informed me that Delicate Sound of Thunder is currently "out of print" meaning that all of the original DVD recordings of this fantastic P.F. concert from 1988 are sold out. The concert was recorded on VHS and released in the 90's. At some point released (in limited supply) on DVD. At present we are waiting for an additional supply to be re-released. Amazon.com currently has one used copy and is collecting names (email addresses) of those of us who wish to be put on a waiting list for the re-release. This is also a vote to inform P.F. of the number of us waiting to purchase this DVD!! Anyone interested visit amazon.com go to music then to DVD and use the search engine to bring up Delicate Sound of Thunder!!
Until then I am burning a copy of my VHS tape (excellent quality copy) onto DVD this will suffice for me for now. Hope we are eventually able to purchase an offical copy. I trade with those that collect such rare recordings.

Dunno about anyone else but I think visually DSOT is shite compared to Pulse.

If I see one more shot of a drugged up 80's hippie mouthing the words to Dave's guitar solos (watch next time, they figure out a way) I will sue for emotional trauma.
