Why is it always Zeppelin vs. Floyd?

I prefer floyd all the way. Zeppelin is a great group, but some of the stuff really sounds like i would say cheap. Like the main riff in black dog. cmon, its like guitar plays this ok riff with the bass doin the same thing and normal drumming. It's really jimmy page. the whole song is based on the riffs page makes, and as awsome as they may be, i think floyd had a much more harmony, and creativity in their music. For god sakes during the syd days which was supposed to be their childish years they still rocked major ass, they practicaly mastered psychedelia. I dont know zeppelin just seems plain for me sometimes, and robert plant can be as annoying as george w. bushes supposed promises.

I think the Floyd vs. Zeppelin thing came from me looking up stuff about them and finding these really crappy sites that noone goes to. As far as the Who vs. Zeppelin, I pick Zeppelin again.

There's nothing wrong with debating which of those bands you like better, but you have to admit there is nothing similar about them at all!

Very true, Zepplin rocks a lot more than Floyd. But Floyd is so much more creative that's why they are awesome.
