Sorry - wrong number. The person you are attempting to reach is no longer available (see when you prove someone wrong and they respond with the above weak comment, it gets a little annoying.) But you did not prove me wrong, because I'm not deleting this post.

Dancing is against my religion. Anyway, the point is, BOAB is right, it was a little jumpy of me to say there were more one-hit-wonders in the '50's nd '60's (or was it?). Anyway, as Fixxy said, what I'm TRYING to say is that all of these mentioned are NOT one-hit-wonders. I'm saying it upsets me when someone who has no regard for the mark these great bands have left typecasts them for just one or two songs.

Re: Byron's reply I don't think you realise that it's an industry standard response for pranksters, timewasters, zealots, weirdos and "intense" characters. Which is why you also received it from me. Shortest route, Mark

You forgot Monster Raving Loonies. Hey! Screaming Lord Sutch WAS a one-hit wonder, ne c'est pas? Didn't he have a minimal "hit" in the 60s or 70s in the UK?

Ah, no. It was the Screaming Blue Messiahs (how apt) with I Wanna Be a Flintstone in Jan '88. My mistake. ![]()

Re: "Sorry - wrong number..." The point is, when someone sends you a message attempting to bury the hatchet or proves you wrong on a subject, and you reply with that comment, it proves that someone has gotten the best of you. (i.e. Me)
