Bert Jansch

I read that Neil Young and Jimmy Page were big fans of the work of Bert Jansch? I did a Google search and I'm quite interested to hear some of his stuff. Anyone out there recommend anything?

I believe he was born in Edinburgh, but the name does have a Dutch ring to it.

Not another register to log-in, man those things wear me out. Everybody wants people to be official members to their sites these days. Is Bert Jansch music worth it though?

As to whether it's worth it....well I suppose it's a matter of taste. I downloaded ( bad Eddy, naughty boy) a couple of tracks and he seems quite an accomplished musician/singer songwriter. His earlier work with Pentangle seems quite good.
