Poem Question

Tell me what you think the poem is about and if you can answer the question Boy or Man?



I wish I could fly
And not see people cry
For all that I see are people dying
We all want a life that is filled with peace
But I know we can’t stop the killing
All I’m asking is to cease
I will lead us down a this tunnel with a light at the end
That will uncover the secrets dark as night

But I can’t fly
And I will not cry
But if I could I would go to a place where I can die
Where I can get away from these lies
Where I can get away from the man I despise
Who came walking in the door
Next to his idol staring at the floor

This man told us to ambush
But we shall not push
For he is neither a boy or a man
Just a wrong hand

Don’t deny
You know they are all lies
Just look into his stone cold eyes
And you all you’ll see is a boy cry
For he has no care
And he cannot bear
That he wasn’t right
So he keeps the secrets away in the night

I know there once was a time
When you could get the truth for a dime
But now we grow dumb
For all we learn how to do is bang on a drum

But we shouldn’t take it out on the boy
His only the toy
To take our hearts
While the man tears them to parts

So the man we blame
For all the shame he has caused us
And now we will take the bus
To the white house
And see him cower into the hole for a mouse
That shows no light
Where the secrets are hidden into the night
But even though he cowers so far we cannot see him in his hole
We still know he is in control

He sent our people from our nation
To kill other people who are filled with confusion
And told us a man was a threat
And that man was him for he was the one who kept
And told us the sky wasn’t blue
And we had no clue
We had no clue he was faking
So he took us for the taking

But we will survive with lust and bust
The man who started this war
But we won’t hit him with a bar
We will make peace
And cease the nonsense
And see the crane fly into the big blue sky
While he feels the pain
Cause he tried to kill the crane
And this pain
Will make him realize that he is going to a place with no rain
And he will fear
For he will not be hear no longer

But I am only a wonderer in the sea
You don’t have to take it from me
As I walk alone
Kicking around the blood stained ground
So you have to choose the hand
Boy or Man?
