i am very glad to hear that the Lord of the Rings has had good reviews so far, as it was premiered now if u havent heard.
Its incredible important to me considering i am from new zealand were it was made and were Peter JAckson is from, so it makes it all the more better. I cannot wait till it is released here, december 19, (one day before my birthday HOORAY! ) but anyway just thought id say something

bye bye

Indeed, i'm glad they did such an tremendous amount of work and detail to get it so realistic and true to the story line.

I'm moving this to the "Just Babbling" section.

One ring to bring them all,
And in the Darkness Bind Them,
In the Land of Mordor,
Where the Shadows Lie

I'll be in line on December 19  !!

Ring On,
Charade I Am

So, it IS truly going to be a world premiere; it's opening in London on the same day. I'd always been sceptical of those claims just like the ones on tabloids screaming EXCLUSIVE! when virtually identical stories appear in all other papers the same day. Some exclusive.

I hope it does better than Harry Potter which I am looking forward to seeing more than the HP movie.

HP wasn't bad for cinematography and the all-star cast, but it dragged and the lyrics and plot were well lame. The scary bits weren't scary enough and the adulation of Master Potter bordered on the needlessly messianic.

Lordy lordy,
Byron

Lame lyrics? I didn't know Harry Potter was a song. Who sings it?

Eugene, take advantage of your signature, thanks.

Lord of the Rings comes out here in Canada on the 19th as well. Just my luck, as I leave to go home for Christmas on that day, and there isn't a theatre there. Ack.

i dont know what the big deal is about because the only lord of the rings was muhammed ali. go see ali and you will see a powerful film. i dont like those aged aincient "adventurous" films based on books.

No more bickering guys.

Yes, i saw it now.

It was very nicely done -- except they deleted too many parts from the book,
I was somewhat dissapointed.

However, i will go see it again
