I keep getting this message recently:

Warning: mysql_connect(): Can't connect to local MySQL server through socket '/var/lib/mysql/mysql.sock' (11) in /home/pinkfloy/public_html/admin/db_mysql.php on line 40

There seems to have been a slight problem with the database.

An E-Mail has been dispatched to our Technical Staff, who you can also contact if the problem persists.

We apologise for any inconvenience.

... and the "server is too busy" error is becoming a real pain in the arse.

Today I have been getting a ton of those 'server is too busy' messages. I couldn't get to any of the forums or threads for almost an hour, because everytime I tried I would get that message.

In the 70's I'd sometimes put up a "garage is in use" sign, so the others would give it a rest and find another driveway to park their cars in for the moment.

Best,
Roger W.

WHen will people start realising that initiating DoS attacks are actually a prosecutable offense and that people actually get into trouble with the law for it?
