^ ya I have been getting that alot latley too.
When I click "install" it tells me to put in my windows xp disc and stuff.
It's sort of innoying...

Yeah it only comes up on this site, and only after I post something.
Im guessing that someone has a signiture with a special font that my computer can't understand.

Maybe its just my computer, but the "server too busy" message has seemed to come up a lot more in the last 24 hours.

If you visit the site, but before pressing the "Get New" button you browse around, look at a few threads and all, whenever you press the button you will indeed get a "Sorry - no matches" message.

It happens that way because of cookies and the way they work.

To make sure you actually see the new messages since your last visit, you should click on the "Get New" button no more than a couple of minutes after visiting APFFN.

I don't know what that is.

We'll be doing some upgrading after the mod poll is over so hopefully those errors will be ironed out.

I ussualy go directly to the new posts when I visit.
Also, I never press the "get new" button.
I always press the "view new posts" button on the right side of the APFFN homepage.

I understand anyway, thanx.

I've noticed that in several threads. The post times appear to have been updated, but there's nothing new. I'll watch, and see if I can spot a specific example.

I also saw the Yahoo! spider 'posting a reply' - as far as I know, it's just following the link, but it may be related.
