| Re: Pink Floyd help... In the SOYCD box set there's a little comic that says something about: March 1968 "Well, shall we pick up Syd?" "Oh, no lets not." And it was as simple as that.

| Re: Pink Floyd help... That is the gist of it. He was unable to function with the band, or function on his own. He depended on them for a ride because he was unable to do such things himself. After the band hired Dave to fill in for Syd on several occasions, they just decided not to pick him up for a gig.
