Actually i heard that, that was a dig at alan parker. In fact, I dont think david had any say in the wall's marketing/distribution or how it was shown. Mainly Rog and Alan and MGM most likely.

No, it's useless.

a) because Babelfish sucks.
b) because the French line is correct but the Italian one is terribly misspelled and then there's one that seems Greek, but even worse than the Italian one.

Besides, the meaning is obviously the same "where's the bar, please?"
