Interstellar Axe of Secrets Toc H Mother

That's the title of my band. No. I just think the early instrumentals are the essence of Pink Floyd. They all have thier own little qualities that make them unique. I especially love Saucerful, I have a 24 minute version of it and to me that's Pink Floyd. No Walls, Animals, Bells, or Cuts. Just long pieces of music, with an occasional
scream here or there.

I'm close to you Eugenesaxe. I like the 1970/1971 Shows with the long Instrumentals combined in the songs and the improvisations.

all the tracks from the late 60's and early 70's, combined in awesome set list and great performances. as I Said, those were the days!

As for a band Name, I tried to start up a band, unsuccessfully, about 4-5 months ago.
I wrote about 20-30 songs, took guitar lessons (I have a good Voice for lead Vocals), I put up adds for other musicians and contacted some and I already had a Name - "Yono-Sphera", that's the hebrew name for the level in the atmosphere which we use to transmit short radio waves. I like it cause It's such a bombastic name, just like all the bands from the 1970's - Genesis (First Book In the Bible), Van der graff Generator (Particle Generator in Dutch), Jethro Tull (The man who Built A Tractor from a Church Organ), and Of course PINK FLOYD :grin: (after the names of PINK ANDERSON & FLOYD COUNCIL)...
