It's funny how it's the best film based on a King novel, yet he absolutely hated it. Kubrick could do no wrong.

Its about this man and his familly who are asked to watch an entire hotel for a few months while everyone is gone for the winter i think. Then the guy snaps basically. Very good movie****

I think I've seen it but it was a loong time ago and I dont remember it much. I have it on tape....I'm going to watch it soon.

The shining was great, but "The shinnin" was equally good. Im a huge kubrick fan, and while I like this movie, its not my favorite of his (that would be Dr. Strangelove). Anyway if youve never seen the shinnin you should. No beer no TV make homer go something something...
