Thumbs down Greenday Album
I just heard thier new album and may I say it SUCKS!! How the hell did this album get to be rock album of the year?? There isn't one song I like. What do you people think of the album and its songs?

I like Green Day pretty good and I was also dissapointed with the album.
I was excited to get it but then when listening, it all ran together and just was, dissapointing.

Early stuff much better.

But there is enough good music around. Listen to The Flower Kings or Porcupine Tree.

I don't like Greenday either but to imply they suck because they are "modern music" is a load of bollocks, frankly.

I don't like any kind of Punk music, from any time. Plus; i always hated the singers voice.

So are you saying they suck because you don't like punk/singers voice or because they are "modern music"?

I love "classic" punk still (Pistols, Clash etc) it reminds me of my wayward youth.

No read better. I was saying i don't like the singer of Green Day's voice. And i don't like Punk at all, not from the 70's, not now. I'm a Progrock fan and it seems Punk and Progrock don't go together.

To get back on the ''modern music is shite'' subject; listen to Neoprog. There really is some genius stuff to find there.

The bloke is 15 years old. A lot of 15 year olds go through that. Maybe it has something to do with wanting to run away from the thin ice of modern life? Who knows.
