Why can't people just wait until the thing comes out? I wholeheartedly agree with Trent on this matter.

I haven't read every post, so, whatever, but all you really need is The Downward Spiral. If that doesn't get you into NIN, nothing will.

That's my opinion...

The Fragile is my favourite, but With Teeth looks like it's going to be pretty damn awesome.

Re: any one like nine inch nails

I LOVE NIN and I'm seeing them at the electric factory in philly on may 19. I've heard tiny clips of songs off the new album because my friend insisted on me hearing them, but i'm not a fan of music being leaked, and i'd rather wait until the album is out.

I concur. Anxious to hear what good ol' Mr. Grohl adds to the mix.

Re: any one like nine inch nails

I have a couple NIN albums, the downward spiral and pretty hate machine. I'm sure I'm in the minority, but i thought the downward spiral was a mess. I never really liked "Closer" and most of it is a sea of jumbled, bland music, distorted vocals and woe is me lyrics. The first track is alright and the last track, "Hurt" is excellent, but sandwiched inbetween is abysmal music. After all the boasting i'd heard about this album, i must say i was disappointed.
I do like Pretty Hate Machine for the most part, there are a few songs that are plain and ordinary, but Terrible Lie, Head like a hole, and something i can never have are all good songs. I've been contemplating buying the fragile, but doubt i'll do it anytime soon.

"The Hand That Feeds" April 18

Time to get yer singles! "The Hand That Feeds" is out April 18. So here we go.

For the Canucks:
http://www.amazon.ca/exec/obidos/ASI...832933-3212354

For the Yanks:
http://www.amazon.com/exec/obidos/tg...music&n=507846

And for the Limeys:
http://www.amazon.co.uk/exec/obidos/...109871-9286242

I'd recommend getting it from .co.uk regardless of where you're from though, since it's a UK single and it's generally cheaper just to order it from there.

I do like The Hand that Feeds, it's quite catchy. I downloaded their first live show in a few years and I'm impressed.

Re: any one like nine inch nails

Whoa whoa whoa hold on for a sec. I just found out that Trent attempted to cover Johnny Cash in The Downward Spiral. And I just realized how much Cash's version stomps Trent into the ground. I'm going to have to dock NIN down a few notches on my personal playlist for a while.....

Cash covering NIN, that's just bizarre.

Re: any one like nine inch nails

Trent's been playing it on the piano by himself for this tour, much more like Johnny's version. It sounds terrific.
