Comfortably Numb Pulse solo

is one of the greatest thing i've heard in my life....... my jaw was left wide open after hearing that, and the lightshow that accompanied it was terrific as well....

another reason why David Gilmour is one of the greatest guitarists that ever lived........

God, I hate this forum.

Yes, that particular Comfortably Numb solo is amazing. I just saw the video of it a few days ago and my jaw dropped just like yours.

Re: Comfortably Numb Pulse solo

I'll say this just to let you punch me in the nose for a while but... my favourite version of CN is the one that appears in Roger Waters' "In the Flesh" CD.

Don't get me wrong, Dave is the perfect guitarist for this song but I just like the concept of a guitar solo played by two guitarists taking turns and joining forces in the end (too much Iron Maiden in my teens?)

If you like the "Pulse" solo, then check out the one on "Delicate Sound of Thunder" - it's even better.

Or the studio version, it's the best.

Re: Comfortably Numb Pulse solo

After all no CN solo has ever moved me the way the Live 8 one did and still does. I watched it this afternoon and was blown away yet again.

Re: Comfortably Numb Pulse solo

Totally agree. And not only because of Gilmour's solo, the four of them were so moved... Magical!
