Anyone listen to Moederneuker?

I was wondering if anyone knows about this obscure Swedish metal band. I only heard about them this last November, but I've really gotten into them. I started with getting "Piemel" based on some favorable recommendations...and wow! It wasn't what I expected at all. Very powerful, emotional. Some people say it's a concept album, but I'm not sure.

So I went on to get "Ik Kotste De Cake Uit" at Christmas. Incredible! This is a rock opera style album. I would say it rivals "The Wall" in lyrics. Kees Konteneuker, with this release, has risen above Waters on my rank of best lyricists! Believe it or not!

Here are some good sample songs to check out:
-"Ian is Een Ezelneuker" (Powerful rocker with sweeping arrangments, and great lyrics)
-"Mijn Aansteker is Weg!" (Very emotional ballad...mostly piano and acoustic guitar. Quite a bit of bitterness and dispair.)

I highly recommend them. They're like no other metal band I've ever heard.

Oh yeah, a friend told me about them and sent me a few of their songs. "Kinderen Lastigvalt" was really good, along with "Wiet Rookt". Plus, Kees Konteneuker is really hot!!

They're quite good. I think ''Hoerentent'' is brilliant, one of my all time faves. It's an amazing 20 min epic with prog proportions.

Yeah. They're awesome. I like "Ik ben een genie" and "Dit bier proeft alsof rinkelt" .. They really reflect me and my lifestyle. Everyone should check them out. Lars have you heard "U bent niet vriendelijk naar mij?"

Yes it's brilliant, it's nothing but great musicianship with these guys. ''Piemel'' is a true masterpiece. ''Afgelikte Boterham'' is also highly recommended!

Okay, I've ordered "Ik Kotste De Cake Uit", so it should hopefully be here soon. I borrowed my friend's CD today (Afgelikte Boterham) and it was awesome!

Oh yeah! Great song. I like the heavy rifts at the beginning, then the way it sort of mellows out. Some great lyrics too:

Ik hield van deze hoerentens
Maar nu stinkt het
Het stinkt erger dan mijn hond
En mijn hond stinkt echt

Powerful, to say the least.

Oooh "Wat Het Neukt Is Verkeerd Met Mij" really suits me now.
