Nick Mason Snare Sound?!?

What type of snare did Mason use? And does anyone know the dimensions? I'm having an awful hard time finding out the size of his snare drum. Also, does anyone happen to know what UFO's drummer Andy Parker used for a snare (brand and dimensions?)

Re: Nick Mason Snare Sound?!?

I think Ludwig(Nick Mason), but i might be getting him confused with J. Bonham.

Re: Nick Mason Snare Sound?!?

John Bonham did use Ludwig and maybe some other brands also.
I don't know about Nick Mason.

Re: Nick Mason Snare Sound?!?

Nick used Premier drums before 1970. He then changed to Ludwig.
