You've obviously put a lot of work, heart and soul into your project. But i gotta say, it didn't do much for me. Maybe I'm just not ready for new school Prog rock, I'm stuck in the 70's.. sorry. As far as your finger-work is concerned, you're quite capable. I didn't hear a lot of missed notes or sloppy fretting. The overall sound is a bit too overdriven for my taste. Take the fuzz and compression down two notches and clean up the overdrive and you may have something. Good work though.. keep it up.

thanx for the imput.... if you didnt, check out the second song, waning moon.... its more oldschool psychedelic, in a way, im working on a lot of new material right now, a lot of it 70s orientated with my own edge.... im somewhat of a metalhead which explains the fuzz... ill be sure to post you on with some more of my new material once its finished

Hey good work man, I like the synth in the 2nd song. I think if you took out most of the overdubbed delay stuff and developed the end into maybe a second movement, you'd have somethinig really, I dunno, ambient. I wasn't really into the first song though. Last edited by careful w/ axe; 03-24-2005 at 09:55 PM.

Second track: Middle from Echoes Dog from Amused to Death Heartbeat from Darkside Have I not seen two young people mention their age at the conclusion of their message in the past week? It didn't even flow with the rest of their posts, but they felt it was necessary to mention as if young people aren't capable of anything today. Well, obviously they are, and it's kind of pathetic to see that kind of unusual pride. In anycase, it is common knowledge that Pink Floyd is a teen magnet. Oh,.....and......, by the way,.........I'm 18. (that was a joke)

im not focusing on getting a band together. i am focusing on gathering a bunch of instruments and creating the best possible music i can possibly put fourth.... using only 2 things; my mind, and my instrument. nothing else. as for me mentioning my age, some people do believe that young people arent capable of creating something good and pure. i felt that exposing my age was necessary to prove that point wrong... i am only 17 and i am capable of making amazing music. just wait. in the next few months, im gonna be pumping out some crazy stuff

Though i like your faith in yourself your starting to irritate me. Its too much effects and too much ripoff for my taste. But heck, it might be good to other ears, but dont you think too higly of yourself.
