Some people actually like being called "trolls".

The depths of depravity and boredom that people can sink to...

We seriously need a 'wanking' smiley...

Right, so let's dismiss every point made in favor of dismissing the source. Easy, but not terribly effective when you are trying to accomplish something.

Luckily, I have yet to be misled by yours.

Doodie jokes are not the sole property of those with a lacking intellect. But there's no need to play a game of "Who's Smarter Than Whom", I'm sure you'll assume superiority regardless of evidence to the contrary.

But it's logical.

Well, at least someone gets a smal portion of what I said.

Trolls are a part of the internet. The best way to deal with them is to ignore them completely. Take it from me, I'm a professional at this sort of thing.

My honest and friendly advice: remove the restrictions and the strange obsession with DDTs, don't freak out when a troll arrives, and learn to laugh at yourselves. You'll no longer be a magnet for trolls, I guarantee it.

But again, you'll ignore any sense in what I said because I'm "one of them". As I said before, it's this narrow frame of mind that makes fascism possible.

I suppose some people also take pride in them being called "idiots". Ah well, freedom is a wonderful thing... especially when it is being abused, ain't it?

So let me get this straight - we need to change our community in response to attacks from people like yourself? Attacks which are, essentially, illegal...

Spare me. You aren't trying to accomplish anything. All of your actions are directed toward destruction; you are not trying to 'make a point' or 'help' anyone, no matter what justification you've rationalized for yourselves.

Somehow, I just can't see taking self-improvement advice from my neighborhood tagger.

Clearly everyone is determined to miss the point entirely.

It's really simple: just don't freak about a troll and they will go away. The more attention you give a troll, the more inclined they are to stay. Look at it from our perspective for a minute. Think about it for a second: we came to have a little fun and see how you reacted to our strangeness. Now you have new registration rules, multiple threads dedicated in some way to us, and launched a counter-attack. It's a bit like trying to scare away the ugly girl that likes you with flowers and chocolates.

I'm just saying that if the attitude of this place were more relaxed in general this whole thing wouldn't have happened in the first place. Again, it doesn't make our actions any more or less right, it's just something that should be considered, that's all.

Now feel free to misinterperet everything I've said again.

You are teeming with logical fallacies, aren't you.

You certainly could take anti-tagging advice from the neighborhood tagger, couldn't you? Provided that he did have your best interests at heart. Now as to my motives, I can't possibly convince you that they are good. It's at that point that you might want to consider the argument instead of the source.

Re: Who wants a truce?

Yes. You are right. We should be ashamed for bringing this upon ourselves.

Feel free to delude yourself further that the existence of vulnerability justifies its exploitation.
