Lightbulb Who wants a truce?

Quote:
It's kind of like this...

There really isn't any way to get rid of somebody who wants to be a nuisance. User banning, IP banning, both of those can be circumvented. Each escalation requires additional effort; for instance, these guys are using a website to spoof their IP's. The same thing can be done even more easily, but I'll not post that here.

Going to their site and raising hell will do nothing but invite more antics. Besides, it weakens the case for complaint on the part of this board. If these activities increase to the level of a denial-of-service attack (as it did when the board was spammed t'other night), well, that's the sort of thing that will cause their ISP to pull the plug. But it's not going to help if members here are pulling the same stuff at their board.

Deathtongue got it in one there I think.

Well I think the joke is over now, and if you want to let us live in peace, we will stay away too. We only came here for a bit of fun, thought maybe you would take the joke well, but the more hostile you became, the more we fought back. Some of you had the right idea, ignore and we would have gotten bored, but if you show your weaknesses we were going to exploit them, right?

So we won't bother you anymore, just reign your people in from our site in return, can't say fairer than that can I?

What d'ya say?

I insist they have the little Dutch faggot ritually slaughtered and eaten by wild boar, otherwise no deal.

Sounds good, UNpeacekeeper. But you and your friends owe Fulghum an appology first.

Re: Who wants a truce?

Yes, if you make sure the other site agrees (since you did post this exact truce on the other site as well).

Re: Who wants a truce?

Well after that 'APFFN is all faggits' thread, I don't think there will be a truce happening.

Re: Who wants a truce?

That's exactly what Davey said at first... Now he comes back every year begging for a reunion. Same with Syd, that sad ****. I always tell them no; they had their chance with the Rogmeister and they fucked it up!

Best,
Roger W.

Ah yes old bean, but now we've been invaded by mindless pricks of the Plink Flloydular variety, hence these retaliatory strikes. An eye for an eye, a tit for a tat and all that.

Call off the Lars monkey and this can all go away.

A denial-of-service attack isn't a joke - and what you've done can easily be characterized that way, particularly with the ongoing planning and direction at your site. That's a felony in California. You came here, behaved like jerks, chortled over the results, and this is how it ends.

Your board claims it's 'business office' is in California, correct?

I have no idea pal, it’s not my board. I would suggest, however, that if you’re considering threatening some kind of legal action, you’ve deleted most if not all of the alleged offending posts whereas the offending (and offensive) posts that your colleague have created at TW are still there. Take aim at you foot if you wish, but you might like to think twice about touching that trigger.
