If I understand you correctly - and that's a big "if" - you seem to be implying that they never used the name "Pink Floyd" without attaching the "Sound" suffix while "Tea Set" was still in use. But the band were always known as "the Pink Floyd", and "Sound" was just an optional add-on that disappeared around late 1966.

I think it's a good addition to any book-shelf...particularly for Floyd fans. And some interesting material / insights in there.

But if you're hoping to gain any greater insight into what it was like to be a part of the Floyd, you'll probably be disappointed. It's very guarded when it comes to emotions etc.

If it's anything like the "ambient soundscape" on the PULSE cassette, then I'm fucking glad they never released it - it's absolute shite, far worse than even the most tired and wretched moments on The Division Bell.

Strangely though; when i bought the pulse mc;as soon as it was released ;i found "the Ambient Sounds" on B side of the DSOTM and encore cassette;But when I recently Bought the same PULSE again;THERE was No such music/sounds on it;instead Sony had the gall to break the live dsotm into 2 parts neatly destroying Any Colour You Like and Us & Them!!
