Pink Floyd's The Wall: A Complete Analysis

It's really complete, there's like 4000 or 5000 words on each song...

I know this post is really old but thank you so much for posting that link. A lot more things about The Wall are starting to make sense now. I know every single word from beginning to end but just don't understand the meaning behind all of time.

I wonder if his mother was always overbearing or just became extremely possessive of "Pink" after her husband/his father died.

One part really makes me laugh now because it shows how "dated" The Wall really is. Only 13 channels of you-know-what to choose from (choose from choose from)? LOL. I remember those days and if the president was on, you were out of luck. Time to pull out the deck of cards. Oh, and Dad always made the kids get up to change the channel. We WERE the remote control and then we'd get yelled at for flipping the knob too fast. Gosh, I'm feeling old now. LOL!

Hey, maybe we're related. I was a remote control in my youth too. Do you remember black & white, or were you spoiled with COLOR TV all your life? Don't mind me, I've been crazy for as long as I can remember. I graduated from high school in '79, & Pink Floyd was nice enough to mark the occasion with The Wall (very shortly afterwards). I recently found a close to mint-condition 1st issue of The Wall on vinyl, & it's spinning now.
