Inside Pink Floyd DVDS - comments please!

Is it just me or are these 2 dvds possibly the worst Floyd related item ever to be released?
The critics seemed to just like the soudn of their own voice and didn't have anything worthwhile to say. And what about Mostly Autumn. Who?? What gives them the right to have the definitive opinions of Pink Floyd. Could have gave better comments in my sleep.
I feel totally conned out of £30. Noticed a few mistakes in there too.
Anyone else got a comment on this release?

pissed off,

Re: Inside Pink Floyd DVDS - comments please!

I've been meaning to post something on this for a few days....

I thought they were "okay" I wouldn't say great. wouldn't say horrible. I definitely could've done without the Mostly Autumn promotions in the midst of a Pink Floyd video. their cd sounds pretty decent to me, but I'd prefer they keep their promotions seperate (like the cd itself was...)

Also, I could have VERY well done without the clip of Mostly Autumn performing Comfortably Numb, when any clip of the REAL band performing the song should have been in its place.

They start talking about the "power of the live performance of the song" when played by Pink Floyd.... and so we see a clip of some other band playing the song, somewhat off-key at times..... just didn't seem right.

And back to my first complaint... in the intro to the whole thing, when the voiceover stated something along the lines of "...and there is no one who could take their place..." or something to that effect.......... and they show a clip of Mostly Autumn.... and some quotes stating "Could this be the next Pink Floyd" and "Mostly Autumn has been chosen as the next to carry on the mantle of Pink Floyd" It's as if they're forcing it on us....... and it wasn't THAT appreciated.

I must say, I do find Mostly Autumn to be quite decent.... but they're no Pink Floyd, and I didn't buy a film on Pink Floyd to hear about some other band.... just Pink Floyd.

Re: Inside Pink Floyd DVDS - comments please!

The second DVD kept showing footage from a concert from the 1980s that I have not seen before. Anyone know if the concert was released on DVD/VHS or if there is somewhere on the internet to watch it? Always hoping to find a Pink Floyd DVD that I don't already have.
