Is Gomez any good??

I just purchased some tickets to go and see CAKE with Gomez.
The show is at DU on April, 25.
I am a huge CAKE fan and this will be my second time seeing them.
I have heard a little about Gomez but not thier music.
What kind of music does Gomez play,?, are they any good?
Who are they, Gomez?

I think Gomez might be an Aussie band.. but don't take my word for it. I have a friend who really really likes them, but I myself wouldn't be able to tell you much. My friend does have good taste (well.. I think she does anyway) so I'd give it a go.

Gomez are a british band from southport, near liverpool. They've been sorta quiet these last few years. I'm not really a fan of their music but a few of my friends are.

I saw them once but I wasn't impressed. It was 6 years ago mind you, perhaps they've improved.
