Peewaks big adventure!!

Hi folks. I'm off on a trip of a lifetime to the good ol' U.S of A in two days time (31st march)!!!
I'm gonna stay in florida for a month or two, then, I intend to buy a campervan and drive all over the country.Hell, i may even drive into canada too!
So the purpose of this theread is to ask all you guys where should I visit in the states? I'm open to all suggestions. I know the obvious places like, the grand canyon, Vegas, NYC, LA etc. I'd like to go to some other places that off the regular tourist trail. So, I'd be grateful if anyone could give me some great places to go to.

Thanks, Peter (peewak)

Have a great time mate, don't let any trigger happy yanks shoot you and stay away from any banjo players you happen across when you're off the regular tourist trail!

If you are visiting Orlando, Florida, then there's Disneyworld and Universal Studios. The fastest rollercoasters are at Universal (the dueling dragons is a real neck-breaker). Universal also houses Jimmy Buffett's Margaritaville. Check out www.myflorida.com for other info.

While you're in Florida, don't miss touring Cape Canaveral & the Kennedy Space Center. It's awesome.

Yeah, since you already know where I live (stalker!), you can come party at my house.
Anyways, Peter, have a great time, wherever you end up going.

Make a stop in Cleveland, Ohio.

Home of the Rock 'n Roll Hall of Fame.

Not something you want to miss.

Re: Peewaks big adventure!!

If you drive up the Atlantic coast, be sure to go aboard the USS North Carolina battleship memorial in Wilmington NC, and/or the USS Yorktown aircraft carrier in Charleston SC. They're mind boggling, if you like WWII and historical stuff. If so, keep your eyes open for various Civil War battlefield sites in SC and Virginia.
