A view of the ocean.

I've been thinking about something... Wouldn't it be a good idea if there was some option to make certain threads not appear at new posts anymore? Some threads can become a real pain in the arse. Mainly the Word Association Game and Who's Line game inspired me to this idea.

Just a small detail really that would make things just that little better

I think that would be a good idea, they have something like 2000+ posts each and we all know how to find them, so yeah, we dont need them on the new posts section.

WA game and WL game could be deleted as far as I'm concerned. However I quite like the 'what song' thread, as it sometimes prompts me to listen to things that I haven't heard of in years. Particularly if that old fossil Cheese has posted!

No technical way to do that, unfortunately.

What about an "ignore this thread completely" option? Like an ignore list, but for threads. I suppose you'd need to hack the vBulletin code quite a bit to get away with that.

I only ever listen to stuff that is less than six months old. Probably.

I tend to ignore 90% of the threads anyway.

When you'll be a mod you'll have to read every single thread of the forum, you know!
