how true! it is much better.

i see no point in getting the soundtrack as all of those songs are on proper albums (at least for those i like). that radiohead song is a gem, wouldnt you agree?

Ugh...I still think "It Ain't Me Babe" would have been more fitting to the theme. Anyway, about Bob Dylan's voice: it's not like he's singing a kind of music that requires a pitch-perfect voice. I think his is very fitting for folk rock.

Non-gravelly voiced (American) folk artists:

Joan Baez
Jim Croce
Harry Chapin
The Mamas and the Papas (a bit of a stretch, I know, but..)
The [early] Byrds (tons of Dylan stuff here): Roger (Jim) McGuinn's voice is high and a bit squeaky, but not gravelly.

Joni Mitchell (Canadian) but folksy for all that. BTW, Joni got her big break by hanging out with The Byrds, et al and wrote Woodstock.

"Just thought you'd like to know."

His voice is also fitting for calling numbers in bingo.

Not that one I like.
Anyway, I'd like to see YOU write some of the greatest albums ever written (i.e. "Blonde on Blonde," ""Highway 61 Revisited," "Blood on the Tracks," etc.)

I've not heard that much of him, truth be told. The thought just never appealed to me. Just one of those things, I guess.

Judas,

Mark

Yes, but Sigur Ros are and they're BETTER than Pink Floyd.

Cheers,

Mark
