Re: Best song on DB

Out of all the Pink Floyd albums, this is the hardest to choose a favorite song. For me, even harder than Dark Side of the Moon. But the two songs that define the album's sound best are Marooned, High Hopes, and Take it Back.

Re: Best song on DB

Gotta go with Wearing the Inside Out, then prolly Marooned, Cluster One, after that, it doesn't really matter.

One more thing, I prefer the first half of the album (up to song 6) than the latter half, except for Keep Talking and High Hopes, cuz I love those two songs.

digital coaster ha ha what a ride or should i call it "Digital Gravy Train"; seems more or less its Absolutely curtains to REAL INSTRUMENTS EXCEPT FOR Rick Wright. If it wasnt Rick's Cluster 1/Wearing the Inside Out and his Delicate Touches here and there;this album surely would have been A DIGITAL GRAVY TRAIN-COASTER!!
and did i hear ONE SLIP????? hey that guy must be into muzak.

Re: Best song on DB

High Hopes is definitely my favourite, one of the greatest songs ever written, but the whole of the 2nd half of the album is excellent...

High Hopes (of coarse), Coming Back to Life, and Lost for Words are my top 3 on the masterpiece.

I agree, Wearing The Inside Out.

Rick Wright's vocals are brilliant.

Exclamation Rick Wrights Wins hands down!!

So there we have it;the stats are in: Rick Wright WINS with "Wearing The Inside Out"-this song has been overwhelmed with warmth-and it contains that edge that original PF had. Here' to You Floyd Waters!!
