Re: Best song on DB

you've gotta be crazy (lol) if you think Marooned is terrible...this one of daves best instrumental solos....cluster one is another one of my favs...i don't mean to offend anyone this is just my personal opinion...but i believe TDB is def. a floyd album and is a good one at that

Yes. I listened to the cd a lot in 1994 and on into 1995. I listened to it enough to know that the voice or voices singing lead on the song don't quite sound like the rest of the cd (Which David sings lead on). There. I answered your question despite your rudeness

I prefer (1) POLES APART (2) A Great Day For Freedom * (*due to the beautiful guitar solos ,specailly the live version of it in PULSE. )

I really love all the songs on the division bell but if i have to rank them here's my order:

1. High Hopes
2. Keep Talking
3. Marooned
4. Poles Apart
5. Lost For Words
6. Coming Back to Life
7. Wearing the Inside Out
8. Take it Back
9. What Do You Want From Me
10. Cluster One
11. A Great Day for Freedom

Re: Best song on DB

1.Coming Back To Life ( Due To His Guitar).
2.Poles Apart ( Due To Poignancy and the fade out chorus of his guitar)
3.A Great Day For Freedom (Again His Guitar, the last chorus is great).
4.High Hopes ( Due to His Slide Guitar)
5.Cluster One (Rick and Dave's playoff )

Re: Best song on DB

i'd have to say marooned, wearing the inside out and cluster one. the rest of the album bores me.

Re: Best song on DB

Whatever the one after the first proper song is called is not as bad as the others but the last one that isn't somebody talking to a child on the phone could be worse.

Re: Best song on DB

Poles Apart and High Hopes are the particular songs that I'm referring to.

I have to admit that that required a tracklist search.
