Ha! That is true.

Also, I don't believe for a second that Roger *couldn't* hit the high notes on HAC. I'm a singer myself, and I find HAC easier to sing than SOYCD. So, if it's true that Roger was ever slated to sing this song, then the reason he didn't do it had to have been that he busted his voice from singing SOYCD too much.

IMO having someone from outside the band sing HAC is great because it fits so well with the lyrics

Thats a good point, but I wasn't actually suggesting that was the reason Roy Harper sang HAC. IMO Harpers voice would not suit Welcome to the Machine anyway but I agree that it could have been sung by another vocalist to the same affect.
