My first poem post

Why is every poem here so glum? Don't get me wrong they're all good but I like funny and I have a comical one. Here goes...

There once was a cow with a bug in his shoe
I didnt know cows could wear shoes too
He squashed the bug it let out a cry
"Help me, oh help me I'm going to die"
The cow had just stood there mowing the lawn
As the first glimpse of sunlight appeared near dawn
The morning was fresh, the morning was new
The lawn he was eating was covered in dew
As the crushed bug let out one final cry,
He stretched out his leg(hand) and reached for the sky
Now this bug let out one final gasp
He reached for the cow but he could not grasp
The cow just stood there grazing his grass
And the friends of the bug came to kick the cows (clears throat)
Thank you I'll be here till tuesday.

Tell me what you think I have a bunch of stupid/funny songs I made up. If you like it I might post a couple more.

It's really not that funny.

Alot of my songs/poems are based on cows........ I don't know why....

They are quite moooooving.

It comes straight from the heart *teer*

Im going to write another one, off hte top of my head, on this post.

The fields of green are too obseen as the darkness falls upon them.
The cold wet grass, seems far to pass, as the sun fades all around.
The days are short, the nights so long, and every hour in between,
I watch the wind blow through the grass.
The blades so thin, smooth and dull are my companions through it all.
The lengthy hours seem to pass, as I remain in the fields.
The clouds speed up, the sun will set, and night will fall so slowly.
I stay in this world, whenever I please, for its my constant sanctum.
My mind will close, my eyes will too, and the grass will always stay.

I did. Thats always been something i could do. im only 15, but i have always had a passion for writing things. i just get inspired. sometimes what i write isnt about anything at all. just rambling things that are on my mind.

Im 15 too with a little too much of a sense of humor.
Everything can be funny in a way.
That's why I write stupid/funny songs and poems mostly starring cows. C'mon cows are just a funny animal.
I guess Chickens are too.
So are Turkeys
And snails.
Are snails funny?
I don't know. I'm confused.
Confusion is funny.
Hmmm......

I wrote this earlier today. I just got the Piper at hte Gates of Dawn. It's a great CD.

A walk around hte park seems very nice,
I think the Sun is leaving now for a while,
So smile and be glad, Im going mad,
So sad, so lonely, yes indeed.
I think a little walk would be so nice.
So for a long long time my phone's been connected to nothing,
So don't try to call,
You'll hear nothing,
Just a heatbeat and the steps of someone walking,
Through the park on a sunny day.

That was pretty nice man I wish I could do that..... Oh well
I'll just have to settle with cows................moooooo.

By a Thread

You come home every night and day,
To find out things the hard way,
That for one split second you were free,
And now your on a chain and leash.
You try to run,
You try to hide,
But its useless.
Your trapped in a time thats not your own,
You scream and shout, but your all alone.
You think your time will never come,
That you will remain here till' the end of time,
But the light you seek, through the dark and deep,
Will keep you hanging on,
If only by a thread.

Depends really.
