Well, it's labeled that, yes. It's also labeled psychedelic rock.. so you go figure..

I believe BDG has come out saying that he doesn't believe Floyd is prog. I disagree; they most certainly are. Also, if you're going to sub-catergorize them, I'd say they are "space rock".

but see the whole point is that labels are a load of tripe when it comes to music that is ACTUALLY progressive. Because it mightn't be labeled as prog rock but it's still progressive music, in the real sense of the world, and that is that it's new, different, and changing.
